Members “B”
Category "B” Members are suppliers of goods and services for Oil Maritime Terminals and Mono Buoys, including Maritime Terminals for liquefied natural gas (LNG).
HOW TO BECOME A CATEGORY "B” SLOM MEMBER
- The Company shall be identified as supplier of goods and services for Oil Maritime Terminals and Mono Buoys, including Maritime Terminals for liquefied natural gas (LNG).
- The Company should contact, through SLOM's Website, via e-mail or any other means of communication, any of the Board of Director's members or SLOM's Administrative Director in order to report its intention to become a Category "B" Member to SLOM.
- SLOM’s president shall contact the Company and send a draft of the Memorandum of Understanding, jointly with any related documents for review by the Company’s Attorneys.
- The Company shall return the Memorandum of Understanding duly completed and signed by its Legal Representative or any other suitable authority to make the Agreement valid. The Company may modify the draft submitted by SLOM in accordance with the requirements made by the Company’s Attorneys.
- The Company shall make the corresponding membership payment according to the current fee.
- SLOM’s president shall sign the Memorandum of Understanding.
- The Administrative Director shall contact the Company to provide the membership code for the new Member “B”.
DUTIES
- Llevar a cabo las actividades, en la medida de sus posibilidades, que le solicite el Directorio, encaminadas a la correcta marcha de la asociación.
- Cancelar oportunamente las cuotas de membresía, fijadas por la Asamblea, dentro de los plazos fijados para tal fin, cuando estas sean implementadas.
- Cumplir con los estatutos y con los reglamentos posteriormente emitidos al interior de la asociación.
- Participar a través de un representante, en las Asambleas Generales Ordinarias y Extraordinarias.
- Comply with the by-laws and regulations subsequently issued within the Association.
- Participate in Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assemblies through a representative.
- Participate in the committees established by the Board of Directors, through a representative, with the intent of reviewing or developing specific matters for the proper management of the Association.
RIGHTS
- Participate in the General Assembly meetings, through a representative with the right to speak in debates but not to vote.
- A Member “B” representative or any other individual, designated by the company by written notice, may be elected to perform any position within the Board of Directors or the Association's organizational structure.
- Through its representative, a Member “B” may submit proposals, aligned with the objectives of the Association, to the Board of Directors or during the Assembly's meetings.
- A Member “B” shall have the support from the Association in all matters related to the objectives of the same.
- A Member “B” may access the technical information in place on the Association’s website and participate in its activities and training programs.
